Last Saturday's Groundhog Day festivites reported that Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow.  Which in short, means six more weeks of winter.  Well, if the rest of winter is anything like the weather we have had this week, we'll take it!  Let's hope Mother Nature is on vacation for the next few weeks.  We're featuring two fantastic, full-bodied reds from Napa Valley this week.  One is a Cabernet blend and the other is a Merlot blend.  Both of which will go nicely with our "winter weather." Conn Valley Vineyards   2004 Eloge  A blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Cabernet Franc, 5% Merlot and 5% Petite Verdot. This Napa Valley red is full-bodied, with a full rich middle palate and many layers of fruit. Perfect balance of fruit, oak and acid, this wine is opulent and intense. Great finish. Our Price: $79.99 94 Points, Robert Parker   Conn Valley Vineyards   2005 Right Bank A blend of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc.  The aroma's of tobacco leaf, espresso roast, complex aromas of chocolate, fruit and oak are balanced and well done.  As for the taste, ripe blackberries, some cedar and licorice.  Opulent and full-bodied with a long finish. Should peak in 6-11 years.
